Garden Critters: Bunnies and Bambis

Garden blogger and writer Amy Stross says she doesn’t kill off the critters who come to her yard, but she doesn’t have time to plant a garden just to feed the wildlife, either. In her new book, The Suburban Microfarm, Modern Solutions for Busy People, Stross includes a more extensive version of this table, organizing plants by their rabbit and deer resistance and appeal. A word of caution, Stross adds: “deer resistant” doesn’t mean “deer proof.”
