Candied Pecans
makes 1 cup
¾ cup toasted pecans
¾ cup granulated sugar
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment or a silicone mat.
Place sugar in a large saucepan and set over medium-high heat. Shake pan occasionally, but do not stir sugar. Allow sugar to melt, reduce the heat to low, and cook for 5–7 minutes until it begins to turn golden brown. Stir in pecans. Pour mixture onto the lined baking sheet. Allow pecans to cool completely, then break into smaller pieces.
